So I had mentioned earlier that I had applied for school and got into Fanshawe for Fashion Design, well the months are going by fast and I am going to have to make life changing decisions soon. I need to find a job and a new place to live, to start my new life. Non-the-less freaking out over if I am making the right choice or not, I wish I could just see into the future to see how different my life would be if I took this path. A lot of people think I can't do it, they think I'm making a huge mistake and can't make it on my own right now, my mother being one of them. My confidence is getting lower and lower as the moving date comes close, being shot down all the time on my future choices are extremely hard. But maybe if I did have every one's support this would be a lot easier, I am already making a life altering decision, and to be told it's a bad one is really bringing me down. All I need right now is support. I suppose this will just have to give me the initiative to work really hard, and prove them all wrong, but doing it in spite of the is for all the wrong reasons. I'm doing it for myself, no one else.
OK so I am going to start a new edition to my new founded blog... it's called freaky Fridays, where every Friday I will pull the weirdest music video I've seen and share it with you folks! This song really has been stuck with me after I heard it a few months ago, and no matter how overplayed it was I still was obsessed. I love this music video it's absolutely gorgeous! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Back in November I went to a scrap-booking crop and the number 1 hit was "Only Girl" although there was some discrepancy to the lyrics and what she said in the beginning, so I took the liberty of posting the lyrics so you cam jam to the video! :) have fun!

Hey guys and gals, I just though I would show you my top fav outfits while online shopping... found at the following stores: Top Shop and ModCloth
Love. A strong powerful word that I believe is always on our minds. will I ever find it? will I ever be happy? whats the secret. Well the truth is love does not have a specific path, although it is a path travelled by many, each person creates there own path when it comes to love. I can only say one thing for sure, it will come when you least expect it. Sure there are many books on how to find the "right guy" or the secret to "true love" this cannot be identified by one person, each person is different and each person will have there own perspective on love. My mom always told me "all guys are the same" well I have come to learn, well.. there NOT. They are not all interested in sports, they don't all like the same food, they are not all sensitive, and most of them do not play mind games. So needless to say, if your not happy when you are in your relationship don't stay, there is a guy out there that will fit your needs and the way of your thinking... easier said than done right:? Well.. yes that's true, I can't sit here and tell you how your thinking. We are all raised on finding that perfect guy, wanting to have the perfect postcard family, that's why we are all so mind set on worrying about our futures. My mom was already married with a child by the time she was 20, so needless to say I'm feeling like I'm falling behind. I think love is a beautiful thing, and whoever is lucky to have to have it hold onto it for as long as you can, but if you can't find love put your love in other places, family, friends, pets. Or put all that energy worrying about it to build a future perfect for yourself not meeting any one's needs but your own, because true happiness lies within.
Try this the next time you have a bad thought or feeling down: look up at the sky, close you eyes, take 3 deep breaths... your bad thoughts will disappear so you can concentrate on what's important in life...yourself.
The past couple of weeks have been a string continuous life planning. Something everyone will go through in life from deciding what they want to be when they are little, to what they will actually will be when they grow up. The main thing people think about as they grow up, is what school should I go to? and most importantly what courses should I let my life lead. Well after countless hours of soul searching, I had come to conclusion of making my dreams come true. I applied to Fanshawe college for Fashion design. After the application process they told me I needed to submit a portfolio, so I have been working like mad the past few weeks to meet the deadline. So I have spent countless hours, rummaging through clothes, reading Vogue, and browsing the web for inspiration. I found mine, have you found yours?
