Weekend Excitement

This weekend was definitely a busy one. Phil came down early to surprise me <3 it was so sweet, since I don't get to see him very often. We registered on Saturday, I can't believe how long it took- a whopping 3 hours. I felt like a lost puppy going through the store, there was so many things I didn't know we needed. Sears does this special draw that if you guess the baby's due date correctly they will give you everything on your registry! So we went with December 18th (even though the due date is the 16th). So I hope luck is on our side for that, we can use all the help we can get!

The day is almost here for my Best friend to have her little one. She has a scheduled induction tomorrow! Which just so happens to be my birthday! She did say that it takes almost an entire day for the whole labour to complete, but I have to admit, I hope she has Logan on my birthday, it would just make my day :)

Anyways, I will tell you all about my birthday tomorrow! So excited mom has plans to take us all to Mexican Town, pretty pumped for that.

Goodnight blog land!

Time Flies.

I can't believe it, only 15 weeks to go- and it could even happen sooner! I'm now at week 25 in my pregnancy, half way through my 6th month. With my due date being December 16th I can only help but think about Christmas right now, I know it's soo EARLY! but Christmas is my favourite time of the year and this year is only going to be more special, with an extra special gift from god.

We have decided on a name, but we are not telling anyone until the baby is born. I'm so sick of people telling me I can't use that name, or ew why would you pick that. At this point I could care less what people think, it's not their child it's mine. All that matters is that me and Phil both agree- which we do. But- who knows he could come out looking like a different name, so we do have a few backup names if that happens.

He kicks all the time now, and he's big enough that I can actually see my belly move when he kicks had enough. His feet are starting to travel to my ribs though, which my mom said that's where my sister was and it was so painful. Well, there not painful yet but he's still a Little peanut right now, hopefully his feet do not get intertwined with my ribcage- OUCH!

This week I read I should start to feel hiccups now, so crazy- but I always wondered does it feel like, a kick? So I asked one of my prego friends, and she said that it feels like her belly has hiccups, and they would be a consistent feeling, like 3 hiccups in a row! She said its also a good way to tell which way the baby is positioned, wherever you can feel the hiccups with your hand thats where the baby's back is.

Well that's the update on my little man. Today is my OB appontment, so we will see how that goes. Happy 1st day of school everyone :)

desired vacationing- Explore.

So lately, I've just been thinking of a place to escape it all, a place that is completely the opposite of what I'm used too. I'm sure most of you are aware of the small town I live in- the biggest thrill in my area lately was the Harrow Fair, now I'm not knocking it, but a change would be a nice experience. All over twitter I see all these tweets about L.A. and how glamorous it all is. This place is definitely on my "Explore" list- which I am officially creating today.

What's on your Explore list?

a toast.

A toast to a friend that is going on a journey that will lead her to great things. Although she will be a few hours away, and I won't get to see her that often I know we will keep in touch everyday.

Miss Sarah Smith. Starting a brand new school, entering her brand new life, and make brand new friends (but still keep the old).  Sarah is the kind of friend you can talk to about anything, go anywhere with, and a friend you can just do nothing with but still have the best time in the world. I've had a lot of friends come and go in my life- some keeping touch, others more distant- which is why I'm sad to see her go. But I know she will do great things, and I have so much faith in her to complete her life plans, shes doing what I always dreamed of doing.

So here's a toast to Sarah, may your future endeavours lead you to everlasting happiness! I LOVE YOU <3
