Soaking up the last holiday spirit

I haven't talked much over the holidays, we had a wonderful Christmas and New years eve. Got to see tons of family and friends, it was awesome, and having an extra special Christmas present this year was just perfect <3 I still have my Christmas tree up, and I'm sad to take it down, but it must go until next year, as of right now just trying to soak up the last of the holiday spirit, even though the holidays are done and gone with, I can still sense the magic of Christmas in the air- I love the holidays!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I must apologize from the lack of blogging, but as you may have guessed, yes the baby has arrived! And what did we name our little bundle of joy you ask? Noah Michael Joseph. He weighed 7lbs and was 20.5 inches long. All together the labour was fine, the epidural was heavenly- and will never do it without! No complications, just a beautiful baby boy. He was born December 21st at 9:26 pm. Right during Criminal Minds (which was playing in my delivery room might I add).

We had a wonderful Christmas we got to see all the family and friends (believe me when I say there is ALOT of people we had to visit) I'm glad we can now just relax, Phil had to go home yesterday unfortunately, but hopefully he will be back in 2 weeks, and me and Noah will go up with him to visit.

It's crazy raising a baby, and very scary. You have a life in your hands that your responsible for, and I think thats the biggest responsibility anyone can have.

I'm dreaming of...

CHRISTMAS! Some may say it's to early, but it's never to early for Christmas! I am so excited to shop and decorate! I want everything done before the baby comes, so I better go to it early (just in case he decides to come early!) This Christmas is going to be extra special this year with my new addition, best Christmas present in the world, and really is there a more wonderful time to be introduced to the world than Christmas! Um..No.

I have been flipping through catalogues, and browsing stores to get an idea of what to get everyone, I pretty much have most of the gifts chosen...now to just come up with some funds! Here's whats going through my mind....

This teapot is adorable! I'm thinking this for my sister- I want something unique and just as smitten!

I mostly posted things for the baby because certain people read my blog- and they don't need to snoop! ;) On a side note, today was my last day of work! yay! so that's exciting, I am now going to really crack down and get everything ready and organized for when the baby comes, different tasks everyday- mostly packing and de-cluttering.
