Milestones: First bite

Every step in a babies life is important, and in the world of Olivia it's even more important. Lately it seems like Noah was not happy with anything that he was eating, he was throwing up everything he consumed- most of it ends up on my brand new couches. So I decided to do a little research and I came across a baby's feeding pattern, it gave a list of signs that show a baby is ready to try real food- Noah displaying all signs I decided to go out an buy a jar. I learned some valuable information from my dearest friend, only buy 1 type of baby food for now (make sure it says "starter" on the jar, and test it for 3 days, in that time frame it will display any dislikes or allergic reactions. So my little bird has his first sweet potato yesterday pureed of course. conclusions: LOVED IT!

The milestones in a child's life are so important to capture, I've learned to always have a camera near by...

Inspiring Aztec Prints

Hello there! I am finally all moved in, the finishing touches are complete :) And while relaxing on my huge comfy new couches, I was just browsing through my favourite online shops. I don't know about you but I am completely inspired by the aztec print this season. I always find myself drawn to the crazy print with a spiral of colours. All Moved In

Finally, we are all moved in. It took 3 days non-stop, rummaging, cleaning, and sorting. As the past few days have been extremly hectic I haven't had anytime to relax, especially since the few seconds I would have free I was spending with Noah bird. Hopefully now I can really start enjoying my new home, with my new family.

the move.

Well the big move is finally here, I thought this day would never come honestly. Well technically it's not even here yet- because we leave tomorrow morning. Today is the last day to get everything organize and all packed up. The good thing however about leaving home is that whatever I forget, I can always come back for! but not big stuff obviously since we have a small car. I probably won't be posting for a few days while I actually get the place in order- one huge mess I'm presuming. Have a good weekend everyone :)

Threadsence Addiction: Floral Play

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have wearing myself out trying to get everything ready for the big "move" on Saturday. Frankly, I need some help. However, I hate when people decide what items to toss or keep themselves- thus the "packing alone." In my books, I'm never moving again, it's way to much work. I can;t wait to just be in my own house and finally live my life the way I want to live it. Of course I know I will miss the comforts of home, which is why thankfully dearest mamma is spending the week with us, she can watch the little bird, while I rummage through boxes.

On a depressing note, DSW does not deliver to Canada, they taunt you because you can sign up to their website with a Canadian address, but alas when trying to checkout those gorgeous wedges you have been lusting over every time the DSW commercial comes on there are only to options for shipping, US and more US. ugh. get with the time people. Obviously they have no idea I have a shoe addiction. Anyways, I must get back to the disaster area I call my "room" Ciao.
